Coach Sales Associate position in Tempe, Arizona. Full-time retail role blending luxury service, omni-channel selling, and brand ambassadorship. $15–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards and maintaining brand integrity
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and targeted recommendations based on customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; consistently meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain proactive relationships, and follow up to close sales opportunities
- Maintain high energy and presence on the sales floor, manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support store operations
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate actively in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome constructive feedback, adapt behaviors based on guidance, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience in retail; luxury retail background preferred
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and basic computer literacy (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets and product release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays
