Coach is seeking a temporary, part-time Sales Associate in Monroe, Ohio, to deliver personalized shopping experiences, build client relationships and meet sales goals while supporting daily store operations. The role combines luxury-retail service, omni-channel selling, inventory and merchandising tasks, and team collaboration; pay is $15.00–$19.50 per hour.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador and adhere to its Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans and meet or exceed individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behavior and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency with iPad, laptop and Mobile POS; ability to use a walkie-talkie and read price and release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Preferred: luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, and clienteling and data acquisition skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, peak busy season, high-traffic retail days and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom.
