The Sales Associate represents Coach on the sales floor, delivering personalized service, building client relationships and achieving sales goals through omnichannel selling and product expertise. The role also supports store operations, inventory, visual merchandising and team collaboration, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays. This is a temporary, full-time position with an annual base pay range of £30,160–£32,000.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, following the Coach Guide to Style and service standards.
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and fashion advice.
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms, including short-form video, to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans, meeting or exceeding individual and team KPIs.
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships and follow up to close sales.
  • Maintain energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
  • Complete daily operational tasks, including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising, while maintaining service standards.
  • Keep the sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures and asset protection procedures.
  • Process purchases, returns, exchanges and online pickups efficiently.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement.
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required.
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based environment and encourage team performance.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities.
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviours and maintain a calm, professional demeanour.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience operating POS systems; basic computer proficiency using an iPad or laptop and Mobile POS; familiarity with walkie-talkies; and the ability to read price and release sheets.
  • Strong English proficiency.
  • Luxury retail background, social media savvy, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, and clienteling and data acquisition skills are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including nights, weekends, peak busy season and high-traffic retail days, including public holidays.
