Coach Sales Associate in Howell, Michigan: Join our luxury retail team as a Sales Associate, delivering elevated customer experiences and driving sales. Part-time position with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador while adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans while meeting or exceeding individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap processing, inventory management, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked while following retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in all situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience in retail environments; luxury retail background preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, and Mobile POS platforms
- Ability to read and interpret price sheets and product release documentation
- Strong English language proficiency
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, peak retail seasons, and public holidays
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; capability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver throughout sales floor and stockroom
- Preferred: Luxury retail background, social media proficiency, experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, clienteling expertise, and data acquisition skills

Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience, with luxury retail background strongly preferred. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with fashion trends, competitive retail landscapes, and customer engagement best practices.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of professional sales experience and relevant educational background will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.25 per hour.
