Coach Sales Associate, Hanover, Maryland | Temporary part-time retail position blending luxury service, omni-channel selling, and team collaboration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to brand service standards and the Coach Guide to Style
  • Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling and fashion consultation
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; achieve individual and team key performance indicators
  • Source new customers and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously
  • Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as needed
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage team performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Demonstrate adaptability and maintain professional demeanor in response to feedback and changing business needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred
  • Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
