Coach Sales Associate, Hanover, Maryland | Temporary part-time retail position blending luxury service, omni-channel selling, and team collaboration.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to brand service standards and the Coach Guide to Style
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalized styling and fashion consultation
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; achieve individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor while managing multiple customers simultaneously
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap management, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels
- Assist teammates across functional areas as needed
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Demonstrate adaptability and maintain professional demeanor in response to feedback and changing business needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background preferred
- Experience operating POS systems and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally), and to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of sales experience, with preference for luxury retail background. Knowledge of fashion trends, competitor landscape, and ability to read price sheets and release schedules are advantageous. Social media savvy and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations are preferred but not required.
Education
No specific educational requirement stated; a combination of relevant sales experience and professional development may be considered in lieu of formal credentials.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
