Coach Sales Associate in Edison, USA—luxury retail role blending personalized service, omni-channel selling, and brand representation. $15–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and tailored fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business requirements
- Complete operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles through receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as needed
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt professional behaviors, and maintain composure in fast-paced settings
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience with luxury retail background preferred
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Walkie-talkie operation and ability to read price and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- Physical capability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Social media savvy, live-stream shopping experience, or video demonstration skills (preferred)
- Clienteling and data acquisition expertise (preferred)

1+ years of sales experience in luxury retail or comparable customer-facing role; demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets through consultative selling and relationship building.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional formal education in fashion, retail management, or hospitality is valued but not required.
