Coach Temporary Sales Associate in Clinton, CT | Luxury Retail | Part-Time | $15.00–$19.50/hr

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to service standards and the Coach Guide to Style
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans to meet or exceed individual and store KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
  • Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and fully stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
  • Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist teammates across functional areas as required
  • Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage performance
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and diversity and inclusion activities
  • Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of retail sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS), and familiarity with walkie-talkie use
  • Ability to read price sheets and release sheets
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver the sales floor and stockroom

Experience

1+ years of sales experience in retail, with luxury retail background preferred. Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape is advantageous. Familiarity with live-stream shopping, video demonstrations, and data acquisition techniques is preferred but not required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of retail education and sales experience will be considered.
