A front-line luxury retail position with Coach, the iconic fashion house part of the Tapestry portfolio. The Sales Associate delivers personalized shopping experiences, builds lasting client relationships, and drives brand loyalty through expert product knowledge, consultative selling, and omni-channel engagement including mobile POS and social selling platforms. The role combines daily store operations, inventory management, and team collaboration in a fast-paced retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on customer needs
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales and build clientele
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies and asset protection procedures
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates in functional areas as required and foster a collaborative, trust-based environment
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS)
- Strong English language proficiency
- Knowledge of fashion trends and competitor landscape
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
- Physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom
- Social media savvy and familiarity with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and data acquisition skills (preferred)

Experience
Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail. Experience with POS systems and familiarity with fashion retail operations, customer relationship building, and omni-channel selling environments is valued.
Education

Compensation
