Coach is hiring a part-time Sales Associate in Ashford, UK to deliver luxury retail service and drive omnichannel sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Create personalised client experiences through styling advice, product expertise and proactive clienteling to build long-term relationships and loyalty.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans.
  • Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short-form video) to capture customer data and drive omnichannel conversion.
  • Manage multiple customers on the sales floor while maintaining high energy and adapting selling techniques to business needs.
  • Execute daily store operations: cash wrap, process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory processing and replenishment.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and floor standards; keep sales floor and stockroom organised and stocked in line with retail policies and asset protection procedures.
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves and managing product movement.
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programmes and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt behaviours professionally.
  • Collaborate with teammates across functional areas and foster a trust-based environment that encourages team performance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to use POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS); familiarity with walkie-talkie operation and reading price/release sheets.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven retail environment.
  • Preferred: social media savvy with experience in live-stream shopping or video demonstrations, and demonstrable clienteling and data-acquisition skills.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience

At least 1 year of sales experience, with previous luxury retail exposure preferred. Experience in omnichannel retail and clienteling is advantageous.
