Coach seeks an Assistant Store Manager in New York, USA to lead sales, coach teams and deliver exemplary luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and achieving store KPIs through coaching, execution and hands-on leadership.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional, personalised client service and sustained clienteling activity.
  • Manage daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and adherence to loss-prevention protocols.
  • Own visual merchandising standards and in-store presentation, partnering with visual teams to execute floor sets and seasonal campaigns.
  • Oversee inventory controls, stock replenishment and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
  • Create staff schedules, approve timekeeping, and assist with payroll administration while ensuring adequate floor coverage during peak periods.
  • Deliver training on product knowledge, selling techniques and service standards; conduct performance reviews and corrective actions as required.
  • Enforce brand policies, health & safety regulations and corporate compliance standards in the retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable supervisory experience in a retail environment; luxury fashion or premium retail experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving measurable team performance.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and people-development capabilities with the ability to inspire high standards of service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with VIP and high-net-worth clients.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
