Coach Sales Support Associate in Tinton Falls, NJ. Part-time retail position managing POS, inventory, and customer service at luxury fashion retail store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs, and provide personalized assistance
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor inventory, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards
- Suggest complementary products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted by policy
- Serve as a brand ambassador internally and in the local market; support social media engagement initiatives
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests with confidence, and partner with team members and management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and protocols
Qualifications
- 1 or more years of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, sales, or equivalent), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace activity
- Proficiency with cash register systems and point-of-sale technology
- Basic computer skills including iPad, laptop, mobile POS systems, and internet navigation
- Ability to read price sheets, product release information, and use communication devices such as walkie-talkies
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Capacity to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal customer service skills
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom areas
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays as business needs require
