Coach is hiring a Store Manager at Manchester Airport, UK — lead store performance and customer experience for Coach's Manchester Airport boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead store performance by driving sales, profitability and productivity across all channels.
  • Develop and execute local business plans responsive to customer needs and market trends.
  • Champion a service-first culture through personalised clienteling and high standards of customer care.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a diverse, high-performing retail team.
  • Set clear goals, deliver regular feedback and celebrate individual and team achievements.
  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory control, payroll, loss prevention and cash handling.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with brand standards and inspire purchase.
  • Optimise staffing and scheduling to meet business demand and maintain service continuity.

  • Act as a brand ambassador in-store and within the local community, fostering vendor and community relationships.

Qualifications

  • 1–6 years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; experience in luxury/fashion is an asset.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams through coaching and performance management.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering customer-focused retail results and driving commercial targets.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in inventory control, payroll oversight and loss prevention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using retail systems (labour management, inventory and sales reporting).
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and digital engagement; comfort using social media for brand activation.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
