Coach (Tapestry) seeks a Sales Support Associate in New York, NY — part-time retail role at 685 Fifth Ave providing POS, stockroom and client service support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalized service at the sales floor and cash wrap.
- Operate POS accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with policy, and keep the cash wrap area organized.
- Promote add-on products and gift cards; capture customer information where permitted and support local social media engagement as a brand ambassador.
- Receive, process and organize shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain a clean, orderly stockroom.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute visual merchandising updates according to brand standards.
- Support sales floor activities and respond to customer requests; collaborate with sales associates and management to drive results.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines to protect inventory and customer experience.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs), bending, climbing and maneuvering in retail and stockroom areas.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; combinations of education and experience considered.
- Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive retail landscape.
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer devices; demonstrated ability to use iPad, laptop and Mobile POS.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with strong English proficiency.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.

Experience
At least one year of retail experience handling cashiering, stockroom operations or sales; prior experience in luxury retail is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and related experience will be considered.
