Coach in Chicago, IL is hiring a part-time Sales Support Associate at 444 N. Michigan Ave—responsible for POS, inventory, merchandising and client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver warm, professional client service on the sales floor and at the cash wrap; anticipate client needs and provide tailored assistance.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS systems accurately; manage cash/media in strict compliance with company policy and maintain an organized cash wrap.
  • Drive incremental sales through suggestive selling, promotion of gift cards and capture of customer information where permitted.
  • Receive, process and reconcile incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and ensure stockroom organization.
  • Monitor and replenish stock levels on the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates and maintain brand presentation standards.
  • Support day-to-day sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer requests and collaborate with colleagues and management to meet store objectives.
  • Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures and maintain housekeeping standards across sales and stock areas.
  • Act as a brand ambassador in the local market and support in-store social media engagement when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; combination of education and experience considered.
  • Familiarity with current fashion trends and competitive market landscape.
  • Proficiency with cash register systems, Mobile POS, iPad/laptop and basic internet applications; ability to operate walkie talkie and read product/price release sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally), and perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending and kneeling.

Experience

At least 1 year of prior retail experience is required, ideally including cashiering and stockroom duties; luxury retail experience preferred.

Education
