Coach seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate in Chicago, IL — hourly $15.00–$21.75 to support cash wrap, inventory and high-quality client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipate needs and deliver personalised assistance on the sales floor and at the cash wrap.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with company policy and maintain an organised cash wrap.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and keep the stockroom clean and orderly.
  • Replenish sales floor inventory, conduct stock counts and execute visual merchandising updates as directed.
  • Support floor sales activities, respond confidently to customer requests and escalate to management when necessary.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and locally, supporting social media engagement and promotional initiatives.
  • Adhere to housekeeping and Loss Prevention guidelines and assist in maintaining a safe retail environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock or sales experience preferred), ideally within a premium or luxury retail environment.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
  • Proficiency with cash register systems and point-of-sale technology; able to use iPad, laptop and Mobile POS devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements: regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre around sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

At least 1 year of prior retail experience (cashiering, stock or sales); experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and relevant retail experience accepted.
