Coach is hiring a Part‑time Sales Associate in Oxon Hill, MD (National Harbor). Join Tapestry's retail team to deliver luxury client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service in accordance with Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
  • Build and nurture client relationships through styling advice, product expertise, proactive outreach and follow-up to drive repeat purchases and client loyalty.
  • Execute omni‑channel selling using mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
  • Achieve individual and store KPIs via cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and deliver personal sales plans.
  • Perform daily store operations including cash wrap, transaction processing (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), inventory receiving, replenishment and visual merchandising.
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom standards, follow POS and asset protection procedures, and support regular inventory cycles.
  • Collaborate with teammates across functional areas, foster a trust‑based team environment, and participate in brand trainings and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience in a customer‑facing role; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proficient with POS operation and basic computing on iPad/laptop; comfortable using mobile POS, clienteling tools and walkie‑talkies.
  • Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver within the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods to meet business needs.
  • Strong English language proficiency.

Experience

Minimum of one year in sales or retail; prior luxury or fashion retail experience and demonstrable success against sales targets and KPIs preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
