Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and provide personalized assistance across the sales floor
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador; support social media engagement and promote company initiatives
- Suggest add-on products and promotions, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted
- Receive, process, organize, and distribute shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a clean, organized stockroom
- Manage inventory stock levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates per brand standards
- Support sales floor activities, respond confidently to customer inquiries, and collaborate with team members or management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines and security protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales background), preferably in luxury retail
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive market landscape
- Proficiency with cash register systems and basic computer skills, including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, and internet applications
- Ability to use walkie talkies and interpret price and product release sheets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally); capable of climbing, bending, kneeling, and maneuvering throughout sales floor and stockroom
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year of retail experience including cashier, stock, or sales operations, ideally within a luxury retail service environment. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; further education or specialized retail training may supplement relevant work experience.
