Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored recommendations based on client needs
- Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to meet business requirements
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and properly stocked; follow retail policies, point-of-sale procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement throughout the store
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required to support store operations
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage strong team performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback, adapt behaviors, and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in all situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proven experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency
- Proficiency with mobile devices including iPad and Mobile POS applications
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Experience with social media, live-stream shopping, or video demonstrations (preferred)
- Clienteling and customer data acquisition skills (preferred)
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment. A combination of relevant education and professional experience will be considered. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service skills, the ability to meet and exceed sales targets, and experience with omni-channel retail operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or luxury retail certifications are valued but not required.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.60 to USD 22 per hour.
