Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Associate in New York, NY (Hudson Yards). Part‑time role delivering luxury retail service and omni‑channel selling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach on the sales floor as a polished brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service.
- Deliver personalized styling and product expertise to build lasting client relationships and encourage repeat purchases.
- Drive individual and store sales through cross-selling, upselling and tailored recommendations; develop and execute personal sales plans to meet KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture customer data and convert engagement into sales.
- Source new customers, follow up on leads, and close transactions across channels (in‑store purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups).
- Perform daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, stock shelves, manage product movement and keep sales floor and stockroom organized.
- Adhere to POS, asset protection and retail policies; assist teammates across functional areas and foster a collaborative, trust‑based environment.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept feedback and adapt behaviors to business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred; combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and deliver high‑quality customer experiences.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, Mobile POS).
- Familiarity with clienteling, data acquisition and social/live video selling techniques preferred.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally; ability to climb, bend, kneel and maneuver in a retail environment.

Experience
Minimum of 1+ year in sales, preferably within luxury or premium retail; experience with omni‑channel selling and digital/social selling is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
