Coach seeks a Temporary Sales Support Associate to support retail store operations at the San Francisco Premium Outlets location. The role encompasses point-of-sale transactions, cash wrap management, inventory receipt and organization, and sales floor support, with emphasis on delivering personalized customer service in a luxury retail environment. The associate will maintain housekeeping standards, manage stock levels, and execute visual merchandising updates while ensuring compliance with loss prevention guidelines.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating needs and providing personalized assistance
- Serve as brand ambassador internally and in the local market; support social media engagement initiatives
- Operate POS systems accurately, maintain cash wrap organization, and handle cash and payment media in compliance with company policy
- Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards, and capture customer information where permitted
- Receive, process, and organize shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain stockroom cleanliness
- Manage stock levels, replenish sales floor displays, and execute visual merchandising updates
- Support sales floor activities, respond to customer requests confidently, and partner with team members or management as needed
- Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines
Qualifications
- 1+ year of previous retail experience (cashier, stock, sales or similar), preferably in a luxury retail service environment
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics
- Knowledge of cash register systems and basic computer skills (iPad, laptop, mobile POS, Internet)
- Ability to use walkie talkies and understand price and product release sheets
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. regularly (up to 50 lbs. occasionally); ability to climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver sales floor and stockroom
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, peak seasons, and high-traffic retail days including public holidays

Experience
1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment (cashier, stock, or sales roles).
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; a combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
