Coach seeks Temporary Sales Associate in Hanover, Maryland. Part-time role blending luxury retail service, omni-channel selling, and operational excellence. $15–$24.25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
- Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
- Drive sales through strategic cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
- Utilize mobile POS systems, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms including short-form video content to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
- Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team key performance indicators
- Source new customers, maintain relationships, and execute follow-up strategies to close sales
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple simultaneous customer interactions, and adapt selling techniques to align with business needs
- Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap processing, inventory management, replenishment, and visual merchandising while maintaining service standards
- Keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized, and well-stocked; follow retail policies, POS procedures, and asset protection protocols
- Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
- Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
- Assist teammates across functional areas as required
- Foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment and encourage peer performance
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
- Welcome feedback constructively and maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience, with luxury retail background preferred
- Knowledge of current fashion trends and competitive landscape
- Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer competency (iPad, laptop, mobile POS)
- Experience with walkie-talkie communication and ability to read price and release sheets
- Strong English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally; capability to climb, bend, kneel, and navigate sales floor and stockroom effectively
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons, and public holidays
Skills
Experience
1+ years of sales experience, with preference for luxury retail background. A combination of retail education and relevant experience will be considered.
