Coach in Chicago seeks a full-time Sales Support Associate — hourly retail role handling POS, stockroom operations and client service at 444 N. Michigan Ave.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism, delivering personalized service at the cash wrap and across the sales floor.
  • Operate POS and Mobile POS accurately; handle cash and media in strict compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and reconcile incoming shipments and transfers; report discrepancies and maintain a tidy, organised stockroom.
  • Replenish merchandise on the sales floor, execute visual merchandising updates and maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Suggest add-on products, promote gift cards and capture permitted customer data to support CRM goals.
  • Support store loss-prevention and security procedures and respond to customer requests in partnership with the sales team and management.
  • Act as a local brand ambassador, supporting in-store and social media engagement initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive marketplace dynamics.
  • Proven accuracy with cash handling and POS systems; basic digital literacy with tablets and laptops.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a high‑traffic retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service aptitude.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift regularly 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling and climbing.

Experience

At least one year of frontline retail experience encompassing cashiering, stockroom duties or direct sales; prior exposure to luxury retail protocols is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail or customer-service training is a plus.
