Coach seeks a Part-time Sales Associate in Chicago to deliver luxury retail service, clienteling and omni-channel sales at 444 N. Michigan Ave.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized luxury service consistent with Coach style and service standards.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross-selling, upselling, and executing personal sales plans and KPIs.
  • Sell across channels using mobile POS, clienteling tools, social selling platforms and short-form video to capture client data and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Process transactions, returns, exchanges and online order pickups accurately and efficiently.
  • Support daily store operations including inventory receiving, replenishment, visual merchandising and cash-wrap duties.
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers, and adapt selling techniques to shifting business needs.
  • Follow POS, asset protection and retail policies; keep sales floor and stockroom clean, organized and fully stocked.
  • Participate in brand trainings, inclusion initiatives and store/team meetings; provide and act on performance feedback.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity with POS operation and mobile POS workflows; comfortable using iPad/laptop and walkie‑talkie communications.
  • Strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak retail periods.
  • Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally), climb, bend, kneel and maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom.

Experience

Minimum of one year of sales experience, with luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Experience using POS and mobile sales tools, plus familiarity with clienteling and social/live video selling is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary study or diploma in retail, fashion, or hospitality is advantageous. A combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 24.25 per hour.
