Coach is hiring a Sales Associate (part-time) in Altoona, Iowa — join the Coach outlet team to deliver personalised luxury retail service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent the Coach brand on the sales floor, adhering to Coach style and service standards.
  • Deliver an elevated, personalized shopping experience through styling, product expertise, and tailored recommendations.
  • Drive sales performance by cross-selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
  • Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture customer data and stimulate repeat purchases.
  • Perform daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), cash wrap duties, inventory processing, replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
  • Maintain an organized, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom while following POS, asset-protection and retail policy procedures.
  • Source and nurture new customer relationships; follow up to close sales and support omni-channel fulfilment.
  • Support team colleagues across functional areas, foster a collaborative environment and participate in brand training and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency using POS systems and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience with mobile POS recommended.
  • Strong English language proficiency required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend and manoeuvre in a retail environment.
  • Social-media savvy; experience with live-stream shopping or video demos, clienteling and data acquisition preferred.
  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Experience
