Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the sales floor by assisting clients with product selection, fittings and styling advice, ensuring Coach’s elevated service standards are consistently delivered.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system to process sales, exchanges and returns accurately while maintaining proper cash handling and transaction documentation.
  • Execute visual merchandising directives, replenish inventory on the sales floor, and maintain product presentation to brand guidelines.
  • Perform clienteling activities such as updating customer records, following up on appointments and facilitating personalized service under store protocols.
  • Assist with stock management tasks including receiving deliveries, tagging merchandise, conducting cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Prepare the store for peak trading periods and special events, supporting inventory prep, gift-wrapping and client hospitality.
  • Collaborate with the store team on daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring loss-prevention and workplace safety measures are observed.
  • Complete ad-hoc administrative and back-office tasks to support store operations and senior sales staff.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated aptitude for high-quality customer service in a retail or client-facing environment.
  • Professional demeanour, polished presentation and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic numeracy and proven ability to handle transactions and maintain attention to detail under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandising boxes and stand for extended periods during shifts.

Experience
