Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients with warmth and professionalism; anticipate needs and deliver personalised service at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
  • Operate POS accurately using Mobile POS and cash register systems; manage cash/media in strict compliance with company policy.
  • Receive, process and organise incoming shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain an orderly stockroom.
  • Manage stock levels and replenish the sales floor; execute visual merchandising updates to brand standards.
  • Suggest add-on products and promote gift cards; capture customer information where permitted to support CRM and clienteling efforts.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador in-store and within the local market; support store social media engagement when required.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and adhere to Loss Prevention guidelines to protect product and customer experience.
  • Support sales-floor activities and respond to customer requests promptly; collaborate with colleagues and escalate to management as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales), preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.
  • Working knowledge of current fashion trends and competitor activity in the marketplace.
  • Proficiency with cash register systems and Mobile POS workflows; comfortable using iPad, laptop and Internet-enabled tools; ability to use walkie talkie for store communications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; strong English language proficiency.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform routine physical activities (climb, bend, kneel).

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of prior retail experience with exposure to cashiering, stockroom operations or direct sales; experience in a luxury retail setting preferred.

Education

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.85 to CAD 22 per hour.
