Coach Sales Associate III in Waterloo, New York—luxury retail role combining personalized service, mobile POS, and omni-channel selling.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Represent Coach as a brand ambassador, adhering to the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards
  • Build lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise, and fashion advice
  • Drive sales through cross-selling, upselling, and tailored product recommendations
  • Utilize mobile POS, clienteling tools, and social selling platforms to capture customer data and encourage repeat purchases
  • Develop and execute personal sales plans; meet or exceed individual and team KPIs
  • Source new customers, maintain relationships, and follow up to close sales
  • Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously, and adapt selling techniques to business needs
  • Complete daily operational tasks including cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, and visual merchandising
  • Maintain sales floor and stockroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels while following retail policies and asset protection procedures
  • Process transactions efficiently including purchases, returns, exchanges, and online order pickups
  • Support inventory cycles by receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and managing product movement
  • Assist teammates in functional areas as required and foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment
  • Participate in brand initiatives, training programs, and inclusion activities
  • Maintain professional composure, welcome feedback, and adapt behaviors accordingly

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1+ year of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
  • Proficiency with POS systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, mobile POS), and walkie-talkie operation
  • Ability to read price sheets and release documents
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while regularly lifting 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, kneeling, and navigating sales floor and stockroom environments
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and competitive landscape
  • Luxury retail background (preferred)
  • Social media proficiency and experience with live-stream shopping or video demonstrations (preferred)
  • Clienteling and data acquisition skills (preferred)
