Coach — Sales Associate in Schaumburg, IL (part-time). Front-line retail role delivering luxury service at Woodfield Mall for Tapestry's Coach brand.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently delivering the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Cultivate lasting client relationships through personalized styling, product expertise and proactive follow-up to drive repeat business.
- Drive sales performance via cross-selling, upselling and execution of personal sales plans to meet individual and store KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short-form video) to capture client data and convert opportunities.
- Execute daily retail operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), manage cash wrap and adhere to POS and asset-protection procedures.
- Support inventory cycles—receive shipments, replenish stock, maintain stockroom organization and assist visual merchandising efforts.
- Maintain high energy on the sales floor, manage multiple customers simultaneously and adapt selling techniques to business needs.
- Participate in brand initiatives, trainings and inclusion activities; foster a collaborative, trust-based team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years of sales experience; luxury retail background strongly preferred.
- Proficiency operating POS systems and general comfort with iPad/laptop devices and mobile POS workflows.
- Strong English language proficiency required.
- Social media literacy and experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos preferred; demonstrated clienteling and data-acquisition skills an asset.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and perform routine physical tasks on the sales floor and in the stockroom.

Experience
At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; experience within a luxury fashion environment and demonstrated success meeting sales KPIs are preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail- or fashion-related coursework or certifications are a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 19.50 per hour.
