Coach (Tapestry) in Chicago seeks a part-time Sales Support Associate to manage cash wrap, stock operations, and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and provide personalized assistance to create exceptional customer experiences at the cash wrap and on the sales floor.
- Operate POS and Mobile POS devices accurately, manage cash/media in compliance with company policy, and promote add-on items and gift cards.
- Receive, process, and reconcile shipments and transfers; report inventory discrepancies and maintain an organized, clean stockroom.
- Manage stock levels, replenish the sales floor, and execute merchandising and visual updates to brand standards.
- Support loss prevention procedures and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the sales environment.
- Engage with local market initiatives and support social media engagement as a brand ambassador when required.
- Respond promptly to customer requests, collaborate with teammates and management to resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience (cashier, stock, or sales roles); luxury retail experience preferred.
- Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail landscape.
- Proven accuracy with cash handling and POS operations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational aptitude, and ability to multitask in a high-traffic environment.
- Ability to lift regularly up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs), climb, bend, kneel, and maneuver in sales and stockroom areas.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Strong English language proficiency.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of prior retail experience, ideally including cashiering and stockroom responsibilities; previous exposure to luxury retail service and elevated clienteling is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a combination of education and retail experience will be considered.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21.75 per hour.
