Coach in New York City seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, drive sales and deliver luxury client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets through daily supervision of the sales floor and coaching of the store team.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and drive clienteling initiatives to cultivate repeat and VIP customers.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, visual merchandising standards, stock management, and loss-prevention measures.
  • Coach, develop and motivate sales associates through on-the-job training, performance feedback and execution of brand programs.
  • Analyse sales metrics and KPIs, implement corrective actions to optimise conversion, average transaction value and sell-through.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with company policies, cash-handling procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium brands.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop high-performing retail teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills; polished presentation and service orientation.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday periods as required by retail operations.

Experience
