Coach Singapore seeks an experienced Retail Finance Manager to drive sales and margin planning across Singapore and Malaysia, managing forecasts, performance analysis and growth initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage sales, discount, and margin planning for Singapore and Malaysia, supporting annual operating plans and long-range forecasts while owning quarterly outlooks and monthly forecasts
  • Track performance against plan, latest forecast and prior year, articulating key drivers, gaps and financial levers in clear and balanced business communication
  • Establish and manage gross margin performance targets in close collaboration with Global Finance and local Inventory Management teams to align assumptions and track delivery
  • Own the comprehensive risk and opportunities view including gross margin analysis, maintain current plans as trading conditions evolve, and convene cross-functional teams to agree on actions and ownership
  • Partner with Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Operations functions to support strategic decisions that drive sustainable, profitable growth
  • Provide topline management support to the Finance and Business team, offering clear visibility on performance drivers, risks and required actions
  • Conduct analysis on pricing changes and promotional initiatives, assessing impact on sales, gross margin and funnel metrics
  • Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models for growth initiatives and business development opportunities, clearly articulating assumptions, trade-offs, risks and projected returns
  • Track approved initiatives against their business cases and identify where assumptions or actions require adjustment
  • Leverage modern analytics, artificial intelligence and automation tools to enhance the speed, quality and consistency of planning, tracking and reporting
  • Create executive-ready presentations that connect financial data, business context and required strategic actions
  • Communicate performance, risks, opportunities and recommendations with confidence to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Travel periodically to Singapore and Malaysia markets to understand store operations, customer behaviour and local opportunities, translating insights into refined plans and analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in Retail Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis or business finance, preferably within retail, consumer products or omnichannel environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales, discount and margin planning, forecasting, performance analysis and business case development
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modelling and presentation capabilities
  • Experience with enterprise planning or analytics tools such as SAP, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or Power BI
  • Familiarity with modern analytical and productivity tools including artificial intelligence applications
  • Strong retail acumen and intellectual curiosity, with demonstrated ability to connect operational drivers to financial outcomes
  • Confident and adaptable performance in fast-moving environments with demonstrated capacity for independent operation and sound judgment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to challenge established approaches and identify superior ways of working
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities, with confidence to influence and drive action across functional lines
  • Willingness to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders and travel periodically within Singapore and Malaysia

Experience

7+ years of progressive experience in Retail Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, or business finance, ideally within retail, consumer products, or omnichannel environments. Proven track record in sales, discount and margin planning, forecasting, and performance analysis within multi-market retail contexts.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
