Coach in Birch Run, MI is hiring a part-time Retail Cashier. Deliver exceptional customer service at the cashwrap and support store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, efficient customer service at the cashwrap, creating a positive and lasting brand impression.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately; manage payments, returns, repairs and damaged‑goods procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Promote the Insider Program, add-on sales and gift cards to maximise transaction value and customer retention.
- Maintain cash-handling accuracy, reconcile media and complete end-of-shift audits with management.
- Keep the cashwrap organised and functioning; monitor and report equipment or system issues promptly.
- Support team development by training and mentoring cashiers to uphold Coach service and operational standards.
- Perform physical tasks as required — lift and move merchandise (regularly up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs), access stockroom and maintain sales-floor presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in cashier or retail roles; luxury retail experience preferred.
- Familiarity operating POS systems, mobile sales technology and basic computer applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Strong verbal English proficiency to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Capable of lifting, bending, climbing and manoeuvring merchandise and stockroom items as required.
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of cashier or retail experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium retail is preferred. A combination of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Birch Run, Michigan, USA, with easy access to Detroit.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18.50 per hour.
