Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cash operations across the store, including till management, cash drawer reconciliations, and bank deposits.
- Lead and coach cashier and floor staff to ensure exceptional client service, efficient transactions, and adherence to brand standards.
- Execute and enforce cash-handling policies, point-of-sale (POS) procedures, and loss-prevention measures to minimize shrinkage and error.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, end-of-day reporting, and timely escalation of discrepancies to store management.
- Train new hires on POS functionality, payment processing, returns and exchanges, and fraud detection protocols.
- Collaborate with store leadership on scheduling, workflow optimization, and process improvements to enhance throughput during peak periods.
- Support visual merchandising and client engagement efforts on the sales floor as required, maintaining a polished brand presentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational retail diploma or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of retail cashier experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or senior cashier role — luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
- Proven accuracy in cash handling and reconciliation, with strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team, deliver coaching, and maintain performance standards under pressure.
- Unimpeachable integrity; able to pass background checks and adhere to strict loss-prevention protocols.
