Role & Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage clients with warmth and professionalism, anticipating and addressing their needs with personalized assistance
• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage cash wrap organization, and handle cash and media transactions in full compliance with company policy
• Execute add-on selling strategies, promote gift cards and loyalty programs, and capture customer information in accordance with privacy guidelines
• Receive, process, and organize incoming shipments and transfers while identifying and reporting discrepancies to management
• Maintain optimal stock levels, replenish the sales floor with seasonal and permanent inventory, and execute visual merchandising updates
• Support all sales floor activities with confidence, respond to customer requests promptly, and escalate to team members or management when necessary
• Maintain rigorous housekeeping standards throughout the store environment and adhere strictly to Loss Prevention protocols
• Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador, actively supporting social media engagement and community presence

Qualifications

• One year or more of previous retail experience, preferably in a luxury retail or service environment (cashier, stock, or sales experience)
• Current knowledge of fashion trends and competitive retail marketplace dynamics
• Proficiency with cash register systems and mobile point-of-sale platforms
• Competency with basic computer systems, iPad/laptop, internet navigation, and retail walkie-talkies
• Ability to read and interpret price sheets, product release information, and inventory documentation
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to lift and carry merchandise regularly (minimum 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs), and to bend, kneel, climb, and navigate sales floor and stockroom environments
• Strong English language proficiency

Skills

Experience

One year or more of retail experience, ideally within a luxury or premium retail environment. A combination of relevant education and practical experience will be considered.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; professional retail training or certification is a plus but not required.

Workplace

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17.60 to CAD 22 per hour.
