Coach in New York, NY is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, lead the sales team and deliver exceptional client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in delivering sales targets and store KPIs through daily operational oversight and tactical execution.
  • Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve exceptional clienteling, conversion and average transaction value.
  • Maintain brand standards for visual merchandising, presentation and in-store customer experience.
  • Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, reconciliation and POS operations with rigorous compliance to company policies.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention practices.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly reporting; analyse sales trends and translate insights into actionable store-level initiatives.
  • Assist in recruitment, onboarding and performance management; create schedules and ensure adequate frontline coverage.
  • Act as store lead in the manager’s absence, resolving client escalations and representing the brand with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervisory experience in luxury or premium retail (typically 2+ years preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to coach teams to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience with inventory and cash-control processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship-building skills, with a service-first orientation.
  • Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and seasonal peaks.

Experience
