Coach Retail Assistant Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in delivering sales targets and store KPIs through daily operational oversight and tactical execution.
- Lead, motivate and coach the sales team to achieve exceptional clienteling, conversion and average transaction value.
- Maintain brand standards for visual merchandising, presentation and in-store customer experience.
- Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, reconciliation and POS operations with rigorous compliance to company policies.
- Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention practices.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reporting; analyse sales trends and translate insights into actionable store-level initiatives.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding and performance management; create schedules and ensure adequate frontline coverage.
- Act as store lead in the manager’s absence, resolving client escalations and representing the brand with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in luxury or premium retail (typically 2+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to coach teams to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with inventory and cash-control processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship-building skills, with a service-first orientation.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and seasonal peaks.

Experience
Typically requires at least 2 years of progressive retail experience with supervisory responsibility, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion/accessories brand. Proven record of delivering sales results and developing frontline talent is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in business, retail management or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
