Coach in New York is hiring a Sales Associate to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales at its flagship store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver elevated, personalised client service and cultivate long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through consultative selling and effective merchandising.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately; process sales, exchanges and returns in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor reflects brand presentation and product storytelling.
- Support inventory management activities including receiving, stock counts and loss-prevention protocols.
- Contribute to omnichannel fulfilment (e.g., ship-from-store, buy-online-pickup-in-store) and participate in store events and product launches.
- Provide product knowledge across leather goods, accessories and ready-to-wear; communicate features, provenance and care instructions to clients.
- Collaborate with store leadership to share client insights, update CRM records and identify sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably in luxury fashion or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets and executing clienteling strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, customer-focused manner.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
- Legal right to work in the hiring country.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1+ years of hands-on retail sales experience; prior experience within the luxury or premium fashion sector is strongly preferred and experience meeting measurable sales KPIs is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or post-secondary study in fashion, retail or business is advantageous.
