Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY — deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales for Coach in Manhattan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service through proactive clienteling and relationship development to drive repeat business and lifetime value.
- Achieve individual and store sales KPIs through consultative selling, product knowledge and upselling of full lifestyle assortments.
- Operate the point‑of‑sale, process transactions accurately, handle cash and follow all store financial controls and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure floor readiness, and participate in merchandise replenishment and inventory counts.
- Support marketing and CRM initiatives by capturing client data, following up on leads and executing in‑store events and client appointments.
- Collaborate with the store team to deliver a consistent brand experience, including adherence to grooming, presentation and customer service protocols.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable retail sales experience, ideally within a premium or luxury fashion house.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs in a high‑volume retail environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client‑relationship management skills.
- Professional presentation and a passion for luxury product knowledge and storytelling.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of frontline retail experience, preferably in luxury or premium fashion; proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client service.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or higher education in fashion, retail or a related discipline is advantageous.
