Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY — client-facing retail role in a flagship boutique delivering luxury service and sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, client-focused service through personalised clienteling and active listening to identify needs and promote relevant product assortments.
- Drive store sales and KPIs by converting walk-ins, following up on leads and executing targeted outreach to existing clientele.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and floor presentation consistent with brand directives and seasonal directives.
- Operate point-of-sale and CRM systems accurately for transactions, returns, repairs and client records; ensure cash-handling procedures are adhered to.
- Support inventory control activities including receiving, stock replenishment, cycle counts and loss-prevention measures.
- Collaborate with store team and management to execute store events, launches and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for retail sales with a demonstrable interest in luxury products and high-end customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; polished client-facing demeanour.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail; reliable and punctual.

Experience
Typically 0–2 years of retail or customer-facing experience, preferably within a luxury or premium-brand environment; prior boutique experience is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or retail/merchandising coursework is a plus.
