Coach Sales Associate in Chicago, IL — full-time retail role delivering luxury client service and omni‑channel selling at 444 N. Michigan Ave.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front‑line ambassador of the Coach brand, consistently applying the Coach Guide to Style and Service to deliver elevated, personalised client experiences.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships through personalised styling, expert product knowledge and proactive follow‑up to drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets by cross‑selling, upselling and executing personal sales plans; contribute to team KPIs.
- Leverage mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling (including short‑form video and live‑stream formats) to capture customer data and convert omni‑channel opportunities.
- Manage daily store operations: process transactions (purchases, returns, exchanges, online pickups), maintain cash wrap procedures and adhere to asset‑protection policies.
- Support inventory cycles: receive shipments, replenish stock, perform inventory counts and maintain an organised sales floor and stockroom.
- Execute basic visual merchandising and replenishment tasks to preserve presentation standards.
- Foster a collaborative, trust‑based team environment; participate in brand training initiatives and inclusion activities; welcome feedback and adapt professionally.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and execute personal sales plans.
- Practical experience operating POS systems and mobile sales devices; comfortable with data capture and clienteling workflows.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak seasons and public holidays.
- Capable of regularly lifting 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally) and performing physical tasks required on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Strong English language proficiency.

Experience
At least 1 year of retail or sales experience is required; prior luxury retail or premium-brand experience is preferred and will be viewed favourably.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; combination of education and relevant retail experience will be considered.
