Coach is hiring a part‑time Sales Associate in Aurora, Illinois (Chicago Premium Outlets) to deliver luxury retail service and drive omni‑channel sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as the front-line ambassador for the Coach brand, delivering elevated, personalized service in accordance with the Coach Guide to Style and Service standards.
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships through styling, product expertise, and tailored recommendations to encourage repeat business.
- Drive sales performance via cross-selling, upselling, personal sales plans and by meeting or exceeding individual and store KPIs.
- Use mobile POS, clienteling tools and social selling platforms (including short‑form video) to capture client data and complete omni‑channel transactions.
- Process transactions efficiently, including purchases, returns, exchanges and online order pickups, while following POS and asset protection procedures.
- Execute daily operational tasks: cash wrap, inventory processing, replenishment, receiving shipments and stockroom management.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor and stockroom are clean, organized, and appropriately stocked.
- Source new customers through proactive floor selling and follow-up to close sales; support team members across functional areas as required.
- Participate in brand initiatives, training programs and inclusion activities; accept and act upon feedback to improve performance.
- Operate safely and ergonomically on the sales floor, including regular lifting (25 lb) and occasional heavier lifts (up to 50 lb).
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of sales experience; luxury retail experience preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS operation and basic computer devices (iPad/laptop); experience using mobile POS and walkie‑talkies.
- Strong English language proficiency.
- Comfortable working a flexible retail schedule including nights, weekends, peak season and public holidays.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the role: lift 25 lb regularly (up to 50 lb occasionally), climb, bend, kneel, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom.
- Customer‑focused with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple customers simultaneously.
- Preferred: social media savvy, experience with live‑stream shopping or video demos, and clienteling/data acquisition capabilities.

Experience
At least one year of retail or sales experience is required; prior experience in luxury or premium fashion retail is strongly preferred. Candidates with a mix of relevant education and retail experience will be considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail, fashion or customer‑service coursework or an associate degree preferred.
