Coach is hiring a Sales Associate in New York, NY — deliver luxury client service, drive sales and maintain boutique standards for an iconic leather‑goods brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and cultivate long‑term customer relationships through proactive clienteling and follow‑up.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling and effective upselling.
  • Execute visual merchandising and maintain boutique presentation to brand standards, ensuring product displays, signage and stock are impeccable.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system; handle cash, card payments and returns in accordance with policy.
  • Manage stock including receiving, replenishment, inventory counts and basic stock recordkeeping; support loss‑prevention procedures.
  • Participate in training sessions, product education and team briefings to maintain deep product knowledge and service consistency.
  • Support store opening/closing duties and maintain a professional appearance and environment at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver high‑level customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in the country where the position is based.
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Attention to detail, numeracy for cash handling and adherence to loss‑prevention policy.
