Role & Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership on the sales floor to meet and exceed sales targets and store KPIs.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, promoting Coach values and increasing brand awareness through exemplary customer interactions.
- Implement company initiatives and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including merchandising and inventory handling.
- Recruit, interview and onboard store team members; deliver high-level training and ongoing coaching to develop individual and team performance.
- Monitor and analyze sales data and trends; propose and execute action plans to improve store performance.
- Drive a customer-centric culture and mentor the team on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships.
- Provide HR and conflict-resolution support in the absence of store leadership and enforce company policies and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ year of experience managing a competitive retail space at a lead supervisor or equivalent level.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop, coach and hold team members accountable to targets and behaviours.
- Demonstrated business acumen; experience interpreting sales reports and translating insights into tactical store actions.
- Experience in recruiting, performance evaluation and delivering structured training programs.
- Ability to provide HR support and resolve interpersonal conflicts diplomatically.
- Physically able to bend, reach, climb, kneel and regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a competitive retail environment, with proven results in driving sales, coaching teams, and executing store-level initiatives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 21 to CAD 30 per hour.
