Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong leadership presence on the sales floor to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador, embodying Coach values and promoting brand awareness among customers and internal partners.
- Lead implementation of company initiatives and support the full operation of the store, including adherence to policies and operational procedures.
- Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and recommend actions to enhance store performance and achieve KPIs.
- Recruit, interview, train and evaluate team members; provide regular feedback and coaching to improve individual and team performance.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and mentor staff on clienteling strategies to build long-term customer relationships.
- Provide HR and conflict-resolution support in the absence of senior leadership and champion resources that support a healthy internal work environment.
- Execute forward-planned strategies and hold the team accountable to deliver on business goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1+ years' experience managing a competitive retail environment at a lead or supervisor level.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in recruiting, coaching, performance evaluation, and delivering sales results.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, kneel and regularly lift at least 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable providing direct, actionable feedback and managing conflict; committed to fostering inclusive team dynamics.
Skills
Experience
At least one year of experience leading a competitive retail store or sales team at the lead/supervisor level, with proven results in driving sales and developing staff.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma in retail management or related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, with easy access to Vancouver.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 21 to CAD 30 per hour.
