Role & Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership on the sales floor to achieve sales targets, uphold brand standards, and deliver an exceptional client experience.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador to promote Coach values and increase local brand awareness through exemplary service and merchandising.
- Implement corporate initiatives and ensure smooth day‑to‑day store operations, including compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Analyze sales performance and KPIs, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions and localized strategies to improve store results.
- Recruit, interview, train, coach, and evaluate store team members; deliver individualized development plans and hold staff accountable to goals.
- Drive clienteling strategy to cultivate long‑term customer relationships and mentor associates on delivering personalized service.
- Provide HR support and conflict resolution in the absence of senior leadership; foster a fair, inclusive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of equivalent supervisory experience in a competitive retail environment at a lead or supervisor level.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret sales data, set priorities, and execute strategies to meet KPIs.
- Proven people management skills: coaching, performance feedback, recruitment and development.
- Able to perform physical duties of the role: regularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; bend, reach, kneel and maneuver stockroom and sales floor safely.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
Skills
Experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a high‑volume retail environment, with demonstrable results in driving sales, developing teams, and managing store operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or retail management certification preferred.
