Coach is hiring a Lead Supervisor in New York, NY — lead retail teams, drive sales and ensure exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily store operations and supervise a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding client experiences and meet sales targets.
- Coach, develop and schedule store staff; conduct performance reviews and deliver ongoing training in clienteling and product knowledge.
- Drive sales through proactive clienteling, bespoke service, and effective execution of visual merchandising and promotional activity.
- Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving, and loss-prevention procedures to protect merchandise and margins.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards for store presentation, service protocols, cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Handle escalated client issues and act as a visible brand ambassador on the shop floor to nurture long-term client relationships.
- Monitor store KPIs and assist the manager in preparing sales reports, forecasts and action plans to improve performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in retail, preferably within luxury or premium fashion.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and motivating a sales team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for coaching and developing staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to visual merchandising and operational detail.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays; legal authorization to work in the United States.

Typically requires at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role within retail, with 3+ years of total retail experience; luxury retail background strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or related field preferred.
