Coach — Lead Supervisor in New York, NY. Lead the boutique team, deliver elevated client service and drive sales for the Coach store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the store sales team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Own daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, POS reconciliation and adherence to company loss‑prevention policies.
- Drive visual merchandising standards and execute floor moves to maximise product presentation and conversion.
- Create and manage staff schedules to align coverage with peak trading hours while controlling payroll costs.
- Conduct regular performance feedback, deliver in‑store training and support career development of direct reports.
- Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, incoming shipments and shrink prevention initiatives.
- Analyse sales KPIs and customer metrics to recommend actions that improve conversion and average transaction value.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations and local retail legislation.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership capability with strong coaching and people‑management skills.
- Excellent client‑facing communication and persuasive selling ability.
- Sound numerical skills and experience with cash control procedures.
- Highly organised with a strong attention to visual and operational detail.
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and holiday periods.
