Coach is hiring a Lead Supervisor in New York — lead store operations, coach the sales team and deliver elevated client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations on the sales floor, ensuring flawless execution of brand standards and elevated client experiences.
- Coach, mentor and develop sales associates through on-the-floor feedback, performance reviews and targeted training to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Drive attainment of sales KPIs, conversion, average transaction value and clienteling metrics through proactive leadership and hands-on selling.
- Oversee visual merchandising and product presentation to maintain seasonal floor sets and promotional displays aligned with corporate directives.
- Manage inventory control, receive shipments, perform cycle counts and support loss prevention procedures to safeguard stock accuracy.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash reconciliation and assist with opening/closing routines and shift-level administration.
- Create and manage staff schedules to meet business needs while controlling payroll adherence and labor efficiency.
- Escalate HR and customer issues appropriately, supporting disciplinary actions, returns and complex client service escalations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or lead experience in retail, preferably within premium or luxury brands.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and coaching a team to measurable performance improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset and polished presentation.
- Ability to manage administrative tasks including scheduling, cash handling and basic inventory reconciliation.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business or fashion is advantageous.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment.

Typically requires at least 2 years of frontline supervisory experience in a retail environment, with preference given to candidates who have led teams within luxury or premium fashion brands and demonstrated consistent sales leadership.
Education
