Coach (New York, NY) seeks a Lead Supervisor to drive sales, clienteling and team performance in a flagship retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations in support of the Store Manager, ensuring operational excellence across sales floor, inventory and visual presentation.
  • Drive and coach the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and personalised service.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, reconciliation and adherence to loss-prevention protocols.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and floor moves to maintain brand presentation and seasonal directives.
  • Manage staffing needs on the sales floor, execute schedules in partnership with management and support onboarding and training of new hires.
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare shift handovers and contribute to local stock management including transfers, replenishment and markdowns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, fashion or related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of retail experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or lead capacity—luxury or premium retail experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop frontline sales talent to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and experience with cash management and basic financial controls.
  • Flexible availability including weekends, evenings and public holidays; ability to work retail shift patterns.

Experience
