Coach in New York is hiring a Lead Supervisor to lead store operations, drive sales and coach the retail team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily store operations and ensure adherence to Coach visual, merchandising and service standards.
  • Coach, develop and motivate sales advisors to maximise individual and team performance against sales targets.
  • Drive client acquisition and retention through exemplary clienteling, personalised service and follow-up.
  • Support inventory control, stock replenishment, receiving and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Manage cash-handling, POS transactions and opening/closing reconciliations in accordance with policy.
  • Assist the Store Manager with staff scheduling, performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
  • Execute brand marketing initiatives, in-store events and product launches to optimise conversion.
  • Maintain store presentation, housekeeping and compliance with health & safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales performance with a demonstrable track record in meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory or team lead experience in a retail environment; luxury retail preferred.
  • Strong coaching and people-development capabilities with experience conducting on-floor training.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with high-net-worth clients.
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday trading periods.
  • High level of integrity and familiarity with loss-prevention and cash-handling procedures.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of retail experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role; prior experience in luxury or premium-brand retail strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
